Hired by two working parents of three children to assist in managing their food needs as they experimented with plant based diets. I arrived in their kitchen weekly with groceries, and spent a day preparing food to be assembled, finished, and reheated throughout the week. Communication was key to reduce food waste. Staying tuned in to taste preferences, and knowing how everyone in the family’s well being was impacted by changes in diet was crucial.
