Presenting a beautiful plate, or platter, of food is a moment of joy every day. Whether it’s for myself, or another person, there’s an interior lift that takes place when color, shape, light, texture, and form connect with me. Taking a moment to let it in is a priority. I recognized, some years ago, that a realization of beauty can (and maybe should) take place at every stage of food preparation. Why restrain it to food really?
